El Estudio Ghibli es un estudio japonés de animación. Sus películas de anime han sido provocativas, imaginativas, emotivas y extensamente elogiadas por todo el mundo. Su nombre deriva del apodo que los italianos usan para sus aviones de exploración del Sahara en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el cual deriva de la palabra italiana usada para el viento caliente que sopla en el desierto del Sahara.
